Harrington is represented by five parish councillors:- Mrs Sue Jackson –Stops
Chairman Parish Clerk is Mrs. Betty West. Parish Meetings are held every two months on the first Monday (except for May when it is the second Monday due to the bank holiday) at 19.30 in the village hall. The dates of the council meeting are placed on the village hall notice board . Residents are very welcome to attend meeting and hear what is being discussed. The Parish Council welcomes comments, observations and complaints to discuss, explain or pass on to relevant departments for action. The Local Government Act 1972 requires that every English Parish must have a parish meeting. A Parish Meeting consists of the local government electors for the area for which it is held The Clerk is responsible for the organisation of the , the provision of papers for those attending and minuting of the meeting. This is held each May, when the meeting is chaired by the Parish Council chairman. Harrington parish is one of eight villages making up Slade Ward of Kettering Borough Council.
